Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Dallas Inc is seeking a friendly Donation Processor / Retail Associate to greet customers and donors, process donations, and issue receipts in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role involves sorting donations, pricing hard goods, keeping the stockroom organized, and upholding safety and appearance standards. Candidates should be able to lift up to 40 pounds and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to react calmly and respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts; assist customers with lifting items.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and determine the quality of donations.
• Sort and price hard goods (misc.).
• Keep the production area clean and safe and maintain store areas as directed.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to dress code.
