Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Southeastern-Louisiana is seeking a Store Production Supervisor to oversee daily donation and production operations. You will lead the backroom team to move donations from the donation door to the sales floor quickly, safely, and efficiently.

You will coach and schedule production staff, ensure high quality merchandise, and coordinate with transportation and district leaders to meet goals. The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a focus on preventing waste.

Qualifications

• Must interact professionally with a diverse group of people.
• Must market Goodwill and explain the mission to the public.
• Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and motivate them.
• Must be able to train and develop production employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production goals (min 110 garments/hour) and ensure safety and quality.
• Oversee backroom workflow to maximize production and donations processing.
• Ensure donations are converted to revenue while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Schedule staff to meet production goals and provide corrective coaching as needed.
• Communicate daily needs with transportation and District Managers.
• Perform quality checks on merchandise before placing on the sales floor.
• Monitor back-room supplies and assist with ordering.
• Assist Store Manager in achieving/exceeding sales goals and contingency planning.
• Operate cash register only in emergencies.
