Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Southeastern-Louisiana is seeking a hands-on Store Production Supervisor in Mandeville, LA. You will oversee daily donation processing and backroom operations, guiding a team to convert donations into revenue while keeping a safe, organized workspace.

Responsibilities include meeting production goals, ensuring quality checks, optimizing workflow, and coaching staff to deliver strong performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; at least 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent
• Leadership and mentoring experience preferred
• Background in retail, production, manufacturing, or similar teams is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation and pass MVR check
• Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power BI

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily donation and production operations to meet budget while following company policies.
• Lead backroom production to move donations from donation door to sales floor efficiently.
• Convert donations into revenue while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
• Supervise production staff to meet daily production goals (min 110 garments/hour, quality 90%).
• Maintain backroom workflow to maximize production and minimize waste.
• Perform quality checks on merchandise before placing on the sales floor.
• Ensure proper scheduling and adequate coverage for store operations.
• Assist Store Manager in achieving sales goals and executing contingency plans.
• Provide coaching and development for production employees and document progress.
• Maintain hazard-free environment and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Perform duties of store production staff as needed, including receiving, sorting, pricing, and cleaning.
