Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Southeastern-Louisiana in Houma, LA seeks a Store Operations Supervisor to oversee daily donation and production activities. You will lead the backroom production team to move donations to the sales floor efficiently and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

You will coach production staff, manage schedules, and partner with the Store Manager to meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining quality standards and safeguarding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Leadership, team-building and mentoring experience preferred.
• Background leading teams in retail, production, manufacturing, or assembly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (110 garments/hr, 90% quality).
• Maximize backroom workflow for production efficiency.
• Process donations to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Monitor waste to protect sellable merchandise.
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before floor placement.
• Maintain backroom stock levels and assist with supplies orders.
• Coordinate needs with transport department and District Managers.
• Assist Store Manager to achieve/exceed sales goals; coach staff.
