Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Donations Clerk to join our Phoenix store team. You will greet donors, process donations, label items, provide receipts, and help maintain orderly production rooms and sales floors.

Responsibilities include handling donations, labeling, ensuring receipts, assisting with loading, and supporting cross-training in other store roles to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquire about hazardous donations and provide disposal guidance.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture or items.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per standards.
• Cross train in other store positions as needed.
