Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a store associate to process donations, assist customers, and help maintain a clean and safe donation center. You will handle merchandise, provide receipts, and support team operations with a focus on community impact.

The role emphasizes accurate labeling, loading/unloading assistance, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept all donations with outstanding customer service.
• Provide receipts to donors for any donation size.
• Sort donations by merchandise type and label gaylords.
• Create manifests for shipping and transport of outgoing merchandise.
• Safeguard donated goods and report any incidents.
• Assist customers with unloading furniture or other items.
• Clean donation area, restrooms, and parking lot.
• Maintain merchandise placement and organization of the donation center.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards.
