Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a store team member to lead a superior customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will receive donations, label items, provide receipts, and help customers load and unload merchandise with care.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to obtain forklift certification, and compliance with background checks. Growth opportunities exist within a values-driven, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label items and ensure donors receive receipts.
• Ask about hazardous items and direct proper disposal as needed.
• Write sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading to/from vehicles.
• Maintain merchandise layout and production room organization.
• Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker; assist with loading trucks.
