Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking an onsite team member who leads a strong customer and brand experience. You will receive donations, label items, ensure tax receipts, and assist customers with loading and unloading while upholding safety practices.

You will work to keep merchandise organized, cross-train in store duties, and contribute to a positive, compliant retail environment with a focus on reliable attendance and core company values.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Receives all donations from customers and provides outstanding service.
• Labels Gaylords correctly.
• Ensures a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquires about hazardous donations and provides disposal locations.
• Writes up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assists customers with loading/unloading to/from vehicles.
• Maintains merchandise placement and production room organization per standards.
• Safely operates pallet jack and walkie stacker as needed.
• Commits to safety inspections and equipment rules.
