Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Anthem, AZ is seeking a team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, and promote sales. The role handles donations, labels items, and assists customers with loading while following safety practices.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Labeling Gaylords accurately.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquires of hazardous donations and provides disposal locations.
• Writes up sales tickets and signs for large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture or items.
• Maintain merchandise placement per PPM standards.
• Assist loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers.
• Safely operates pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conducts daily safety inspections on equipment.
• Follow safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Provide floor care duties as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.
• Model Goodwill Core Values – Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, Innovation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
