Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking donation attendants to serve as ambassadors, greet donors, unload and record donations, and maintain a clean donation area. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and may require operation of manual or powered equipment depending on location.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to all guests.
• Greets donors and safely unloads donations from vehicles.
• Accurately records donations.
• Ability to independently lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Operate manual and/or power equipment safely (location-dependent).
• Keep donation area clean and free of debris.
• Completes donor receipts and offers a copy.
• Sorts donated items into designated categories.
• Report safety and security hazards to management.
• Maintain a clean, neat uniform and appearance.
• Assist truck and driver helper load/unload donations.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed.
