Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Domestic Agent I to be the primary contact for designated customers, handling tracking, routing, and problem resolution for domestic shipments. You will communicate with clients and vendors daily, manage KPI reporting, and ensure accurate paperwork and compliance across operations.

The role emphasizes high communication standards, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced freight-forwarding environment.

Responsibilities

• Quoting, tracking and tracing domestic freight shipments daily.
• Route freight via air/ground and coordinate with clients.
• Proactively update clients on shipment status.
• Coordinate with vendors on dispatch, routing and rates.
• Assist sales and offices with freight issues.
• Maintain on-time performance metrics and KPI reporting.
• Ensure accurate paperwork, labeling and scanning.
• Understand requirements for high-value or time-sensitive shipments.
• Process monthly inventory and related duties.
