Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Domestic Agent I to be the primary contact for designated customers, handling tracking, routing, and service issues. You will coordinate with vendors, support sales, and maintain accurate documentation.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided for regulatory compliance and internal systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Quoting, tracking and tracing domestic freight shipments daily.
• Route freight across multiple modes per client requests.
• Proactively update clients on freight status.
• Coordinate with vendors on dispatch, routing and rates.
• Assist local sales and domestic offices with freight issues.
• Manage daily on-time and defect codes; ensure accuracy.
• Prepare KPI reports as needed weekly/monthly.
• Ensure paperwork, labeling and scanning accuracy.
• Understand handling requirements for high-priority shipments.
• Process monthly inventory.
