Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Domestic Agent II to serve as the primary contact for designated customers and oversee outcomes of assigned projects, including client service, tracking, routing, and vendor coordination.

You will help manage daily freight movements, communicate proactively with clients, and support other departments with freight issues while ensuring accuracy in documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Quoting, tracking and tracing domestic freight shipments daily via air/ground.
• Route freight across multiple transportation modes per client requests.
• Proactively communicate with clients on shipment status.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding dispatch, routing and rates.
• Assist local sales and domestic offices with freight issues.
• Manage on-time performance, defect codes and carrier re-weights.
• Produce customer KPI reports weekly/monthly as needed.
• Ensure paperwork, labeling and scanning accuracy.
• Understand handling requirements for high-value or time-sensitive shipments.
• Process monthly inventory.
