Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Domestic Agent II to coordinate and execute domestic air and ground freight shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with clients and carriers.

The role focuses on quoting, routing, tracking, and resolving issues while supporting sales and domestic offices. Requires 3+ years of freight forwarding experience and IATA/TSA knowledge; SAP/AS400 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some College/Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years Freight Forwarding experience required.
• 1+ years SAP and AS400 experience preferred.
• 1+ years knowledge of IATA and TSA regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Quoting, tracking and tracing domestic freight shipments moving via air/ground on a daily basis.
• Route freight shipments across multiple transportation modes and services based upon client requests.
• Proactively communicate with clients regarding status of freight.
• Communicate with vendors regarding shipment dispatch, routing and rates.
• Prepare KPI reports weekly/monthly as needed.
• Ensure paperwork, labeling and scanning for accuracy.
