Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced sales professional for an expat assignment in Japan, focused on U.S. Federal DoD accounts. Position requires relocation for a minimum of 3 years and direct sales of communications systems to DoD customers.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in sales or 8+ years in related roles, with a technical background in RF communications and public safety software. Travel 50-75% and US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of relevant sales experience.
• Technical background in RF communications and public safety software (CAD, RMS, E911, Video) strongly desired.
• Experience selling to DoD or Federal Law Enforcement Agencies is preferred.
• Excellent communication, sales, and writing skills are required.
• Must have a demonstrated track record of closing major sales.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Google Workspace.
• Ability to articulate account strategies and go-to-market plans within a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. Federal Government DoD accounts in Eastern US region.
• Identifies diverse customer needs, and understand how our product portfolio can be applied to satisfy these needs.
• Build strong relationships and customer knowledge by understanding the Motorola Solutions business model.
• Become a trusted adviser to the customer and partners through vision and strategy.
