Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm) at our Omaha facility.

You will lead dock activities, coordinate trailer movements, and partner with operations, transportation, and customer teams to keep yard flow safe and efficient. This hands-on leadership role requires experience in warehouse or dock environments, strong communication, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Proven communication skills for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and stop-work authority is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trailer movements and dock activities to support daily priorities.
• Monitor dock conditions and enforce safety using stop-work authority when needed.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Maintain dock and yard organization following 7S standards and document issues.
