Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Yard and Dock Coordinator for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm). You will lead dock activities, coordinate trailer movements, and partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to ensure safe, efficient dock operations.

The role emphasizes accountability, operational discipline, and customer service excellence while supporting site leadership and daily priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation-related environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong communication skills for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support dock-related equipment.
• Coordinate trailer movements to support daily priorities.
• Manage docking, release, and yard flow while following safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate Unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
