GXO Logistics, Inc. in Locust Grove, GA seeks a Yard and Dock Coordinator for 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm. This hands-on leadership role serves as the primary point of contact for dock activities, ensuring safe, efficient trailer movement.

You’ll partner daily with operations, transportation, safety and customer teams to execute dock tasks, manage trailer docking and yard flow, and uphold 7S standards while maintaining a strong customer service mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking and release procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and across varied terrain.
• Strong communication skills and adherence to safety standards.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate loading and unloading dock activities to support daily priorities.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate safety issues when needed.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Document updates and communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities align with safety standards and site SWIs.
• Support 7S workplace organization and daily operational tasks.
