GXO Logistics, Inc is hiring a Yard and Dock Coordinator for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm) in Omaha, NE. You will lead dock activities, coordinate trailer movements, and partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to ensure safe, efficient yard operations.

You will monitor dock conditions, enforce safety standards, and maintain strong customer service while supporting site leadership and daily priorities. Outdoor work and lifting may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard or transportation setting.
• Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures and trailer anatomy.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain.
• Ability to follow defined safety standards, processes, and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.

Responsabilités

• Champion safety and support of dock-related tools and equipment.
• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities to support daily priorities.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and apply stop-work if unsafe.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customers.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure activities align with process guidelines and SWIs.
• Support 7S workplace standards for dock and yard.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify risks or delays.
• Use Office 365/Google Suite to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership and peers as needed.
