Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator to lead dock activities and ensure safe, efficient trailer movements. You’ll partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams while modeling accountability and exceptional customer service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coordination of dock and yard workflows, and a strong emphasis on safety, process adherence, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, or transport environments.
Follow defined processes and safety standards.
Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in fast-paced operations.

Responsibilities

Champion operation safety and dock equipment readiness.
Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
Manage dock/yard flow, sequencing, and trailer docking.
Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations.
Collaborate with site operations, transportation, and customer teams.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders with a service mindset.
Ensure activities align with site SOPs and safety guidelines.
Support 7S workplace organization and visual inspections.
