Job summary

Mazda North American Operations is seeking District Service Managers to serve as the primary interface with Mazda dealers across the region. You will help dealers elevate the Mazda customer experience, grow service revenue and profits, and boost service retention and repurchase loyalty.

You will build strong dealer relationships, work with management on action plans, perform profitability reviews, and support service/parts marketing initiatives. Travel is required daily in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, automotive tech, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of overall work experience with a proven track record.
• 2+ years in a sales-related capacity; wholesale automotive experience preferred; retail experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong business acumen in dealership operations.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective relationships with assigned Mazda dealers and with Mazda colleagues to improve service and profitability.
• Collaborate with dealership management to execute action plans that improve customer experience, service retention, and dealer profitability.
• Perform profitability analyses and consult with dealership management to drive revenue and control costs while maintaining service retention and a superior customer experience.
• Review reports, scores, trends, and feedback to identify gaps and implement best practices.
• Make recommendations to drive increased service traffic and wholesale parts and accessory business; support marketing plans across platforms.
• Direct dealers to resources and ensure compliance with Mazda policies.
