Job summary

Aquestive Therapeutics is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead launch activities and build a high-performing field team across territories. You will recruit, coach, and develop representatives, translating corporate strategy into district wins while maintaining focus on patient outcomes.

The role requires strong pharma sales leadership, strategic planning, and deep market access knowledge, with extensive travel to cover multiple states and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years leading pharmaceutical or specialty sales teams (front-line management)
• Proven success leading teams through product launches—ideally in specialty, allergy, or related areas
• Deep understanding of sales strategy, market access dynamics, and HCP engagement models
• Track record of developing talent and improving team performance through coaching
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategic action
• Willingness to travel 60–75%, including overnight stays for field rides and events

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of Therapeutic Specialty Representatives.
• Drive strategic execution by shaping district business plans and metrics.
• Coach for impact through frequent field rides and real-time feedback.
• Navigate market access complexity with payer insights and pull-through strategies.
• Foster cross-functional alignment with marketing, medical affairs, and access teams.
• Ensure operational excellence with CRM discipline, compliance, and budget management.
