Job summary

Team Industrial Services seeks an Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day activities of the District, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. This role plans resources, coordinates billable work, and directs field personnel to meet customer requirements.

You will enforce safety standards, manage vendor relationships, oversee inventory and purchasing, and drive training and performance evaluations. Travel up to 50% may be required as you support multiple sites within the district.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of industry related experience.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Travel requirement: up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to safety and quality standards and regulations.
• Adhere to and champion TEAM's Core Values.
• Support and manage billable operations, including scheduling.
• Respond to safety incidents with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Address customer quality concerns and log Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• Vet and classify vendors as approved suppliers.
• Act as liaison between customer and vendors/internal groups to resolve conflicts.
• Review customer work records for costing and pricing the work.
• Coordinate material and equipment purchases/orders.
• Oversee technician personnel activities including evaluations and coaching.
• Facilitate technician growth via training plans.
• Monitor technician training and field evaluations.
• Evaluate crew mix for profitability.
• Monitor utilization and non-billable hours; run utilization reports.
• Manage District fleet and fuel expenditures.
• Schedule technicians in Team Apps and verify hours/expenses.
• Prepare customer quotations and prices for completed work.
• Manage purchasing activity with vendors.
• Manage District inventory and cycle count process.
