Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for its District Manager Trainee (DMT) program in New York. Over 44 weeks you’ll gain hands‑on experience overseeing multiple ALDI stores and leading store management to drive sales and service excellence.

Starting salary is $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus; salary progression includes increases to $110,000, $120,000 and $130,000 in later years. This full‑time role travels within the Tully Division of New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Ability to develop rapport and open communication with direct reports.
• Strong leadership and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply operating policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store management to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
• Drive district-level initiatives to meet budgets and KPI targets.
• Recruit, select, and coach store personnel for staffing and performance.
• Collaborate with store managers to ensure safety, policy compliance and cost controls.
• Plan and conduct district meetings and training sessions.
• Foster a positive work environment and teamwork across the district.
