Capstone Restaurant Group in Charleston, WV, is seeking a District Manager responsible for the performance of the Restaurant Management Teams across the district, ensuring each team meets job expectations and delivers guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, travel 4-5 days per week, hands-on training, coaching, budgeting and P&L management, plus adherence to food safety standards. Competitive salary with bonus plan and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience
• 3-5 years in management positions (multi-unit experience preferred)
• Financial planning including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management

Responsibilities

• Ensure district teams are trained, motivated and empowered to deliver guest satisfaction
• Evaluate each restaurant's QSC standards and provide feedback and coaching
• Communicate customer comments to restaurant management and follow up on resolutions
• Provide orientation, training, and development for General Managers and GMITs
• Train, coach and provide performance feedback to staff
• Assess General Managers/GMITs performance against standards
• Conduct counseling and/or discipline when needed
• Train on new products, programs and changes
• Recruit General Managers and GMITs and align skills with needs
• Analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions as needed
• Support company-wide marketing programs and evaluate local strategies
• Ensure legal and policy compliance in business practices
• Serve as a positive role model for the team
• Negotiate district vendor contracts
• Uphold food safety and sanitation requirements
