Job summary

Matador Distributing LLC seeks a District Manager to lead a group of Account Managers responsible for in-store execution with key customers. You will coach, develop, and drive Red Bull initiatives, tracking KPIs across markets.

Responsibilities include route rides, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure standards are met while fostering safety and a diverse team culture. Experience in DSD and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; 6 years’ experience in a similar role in lieu of education.
• 2+ years’ management experience in sales environment.
• Valid US driver’s license and obtainment of DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales volume and KPI targets for each assigned ASM and track KPI targets monthly.
• Spend two days per week on route rides to train and evaluate the ASM’s performance.
• Establish regular communications with retail partners to implement national and local programming.
• Teach ASMs selling skills and use retail math in selling.
• Conduct regular ASM meetings to improve operational expertise.
• Collaborate across the organization and share best practices.
• Ensure ASM team adheres to company standards and procedures.
• Build a diverse organization reflecting the marketplace and lead with urgency.
• Act as safety champion and promote safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
