Job summary

Matador Distributing LLC seeks a District Manager to lead Account Managers in executing in-store programs and driving sales. You will coach teams, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with company standards across assigned accounts.

Responsibilities include training ASMs, engaging retail partners, and building strong leadership. A background in DSD management with a proven sales record is required; related degree and a valid US driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management with proven sales results.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years in DSD management with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives.
• 2+ years of management experience in a sales environment.
• Valid US driver’s license and DOT medical card required.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales volume and KPI targets for assigned ASMs, including feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Spend two days per week on route rides to train and evaluate ASM performance.
• Establish and maintain ongoing communications with retail partners to execute programming.
• Teach ASMs selling skills and retail math; setup new accounts and overcome objections.
• Conduct regular ASM meetings to improve operations and recognize results.
• Lead across the organization, sharing best practices and upholding company standards.
