James Edward & Companies, Inc. seeks a District Manager in Atlanta to lead a team of Account Managers (DSD) responsible for in-store execution with key customers, drive sales, and develop staff.

You will coach ASMs, monitor KPI performance, ride routes two days per week, and collaborate across the organization to implement national and local programs while maintaining high safety and integrity standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management with a proven record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives.
• 6 years’ experience in a similar role in lieu of education.
• 2+ years’ management experience in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales volume and track KPI targets for each ASM.
• Spend two days per week on route rides to train and evaluate ASM performance.
• Establish and maintain communications with retail partners to implement programs.
• Teach ASMs selling skills and manage new account development.

The District Manager’s main priority is managing and leading a group of Account Managers (ASMs) that are accountable for in-store execution through a set group of key customers. The District Manager will also be responsible for coaching and developing their respective teams. District Managers are accountable for driving Red Bull initiatives and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through a set group of key customers.Responsibilities:Drive sales volume, track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets for each assigned ASM and track the execution of these monthly KPI’s. This includes feedback, coaching, corrective counseling, and performance reviews.Spend two days per week on route rides (gate to gate) to train and evaluate the performance of the ASM and the executional conditions of your market.Establish and maintain regular and on-going communications with retail partners/decision makers to successfully implement national and local programming.Teach ASMs selling skills through the established selling process, including calling to set up new accounts, overcoming objections, working with different personalities and using retail math skills.Conduct regular ASM meetings to improve operational expertise and recognize results.Work collaboratively across the organization, share best practices, and be a major contributor/leader among peer group.Ensure the ASM team understands and adheres to Company standards and operating procedures.Build a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace; exemplifies our company values and inspires the team through effective leadership.Bring a sense of urgency and commitment along with desire to get things done.Serve as a safety champion, driving awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement in all company and warehouse safety practices.Other duties as assigned.#matadordistRequired Skills/Abilities:Excellent communication skills, including ability to present one-on-one and in a group.Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong problem solving and mathematical skills.Strong sense of urgency and commitment.Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.Additional language skills an advantage.Education and Experience:3 + years’ experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management, including proven track record of meeting exceeding assigned sales objectivesBachelor’s degree in business or related field; 6 years’ experience in a similar roll in lieu of education.2+ years’ management experience in sales environment.Valid US driver’s license and obtainment of DOT medical card.Physical Requirements:Repeatedly lifting 10-25 pounds including overhead multiple times daily.Moving carts/dolly that weigh up to 75 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis.Prolonged periods of administrative work at a desk.Ability to stand and walk frequently.Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.Work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions.Compensation/Benefits:Competitive compensation plan.Company vehicle.Company provided phone.401k with 4% company match.Medical, dental, and vision coverage.Company paid life insurance.Paid time off after introductory period.Paid company holidays.Additional earning opportunities with incentive programs and commissions.#matadordist
