Job summary

Nelson County Schools District Wide in Bardstown, Kentucky, seeks an experienced Support Technician to manage and support the district-wide Local Student Helpdesk. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining computers, printers and other peripherals, and handling tickets with efficiency and professionalism.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience in an IT helpdesk environment; leadership of student workers is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting users in an IT helpdesk environment.
• Two years of responsible information technology services preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree Required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the district-wide Local Student Helpdesk initiative.
• Provide phone and onsite support to users for a variety of technical issues.
• Complete help desk tickets as assigned.
• Run AV and network cables.
• Perform IOS troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Participate in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of District technology devices and equipment.
• Lead Student Technology Workers (Approximately 4 people).
