Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to oversee critical distribution center functions, including inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation operations. You will lead supervisors and hourly associates to drive productivity, safety, and cost-to-serve improvements.

In this role you will partner with the General Manager and AGM to optimize layout, processes, and 3PL relationships, coach staff, and maintain a union-free, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and legal work eligibility in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays and relocation willingness.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational excellence across warehouse areas and ensure safe, efficient processing.
• Evaluate work methods, procedures, controls and staffing to improve movement and processing.
• Support cost-to-serve objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop associates through on-floor coaching and formal evaluations.
• Uphold safety culture and monitor safety metrics daily/weekly.
• Liaise with 3PL/transport for outbound loads and carrier performance.
