Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Assistant General Manager to oversee inbound, warehouse, outbound and office operations within a 500,000+ sq ft distribution center. You will supervise a large team of DC Operations Managers and partner with the General Manager to drive productivity and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with Stores, vendors and cross-functional teams to align layout, staffing and processes with seasonal demand, safety policies and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 3 years minimum work experience in DC/retail distribution leadership.
• Bachelor level or higher in Operations/Business/Supply Chain preferred.
• Experience leading large teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in evaluating methods, staffing and controls to optimize warehouse flow.
• Drive cost-to-serve improvements and efficiency through leadership and project work.
• Ensure operational excellence across warehouse areas and WMS usage.
• Coach and develop management staff through on-floor coaching and formal evaluations.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and adherence to Home Depot safety policies.
