Job summary

The Home Depot in the DC area is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center to operate safely, efficiently and productively.

You will hire, evaluate, develop, coach and discipline hourly associates, supervising 20–30 staff, and ensuring prompt, accurate handling of merchandise while meeting team goals.

The role includes planning and monitoring operations, optimizing productivity metrics, and occasional travel up to 10% for training and coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Computer skills in software including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
