Job summary

The Home Depot in Tampa, FL is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead the distribution center’s efficiency across inbound, warehouse, outbound, and office functions, driving safety, accuracy, and productivity. You will guide supervisors and hourly associates to maximize performance and ensure a world-class DC environment.

You will partner with the General Manager to implement scalable processes, coach staff, and manage cost-to-serve while sustaining a union-free, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree concentrating in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Previous change management experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; on-call weekends/holidays
• Must be open to relocation

Responsibilities

• Manage operational excellence in all warehouse areas and safe processing of inventory.
• Evaluate and optimize work methods, procedures, and staffing for efficiency.
• Support financial, operational, and service objectives to drive cost-to-serve improvements.
• Coach and develop associates through informal and formal training.
• Maintain a culture of safety and monitor safety metrics daily to monthly.
• Collaborate with 3PL or transportation partners for outbound loads and carrier performance.
