Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly distribution team in a fast-paced center. You will oversee 20–30 associates, hire/train, and ensure safe, efficient merchandise handling.

You’ll drive process improvements, monitor inventory and key metrics, and collaborate with Operations leadership on staffing and planning. A Bachelor’s degree and warehouse systems experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and relocate.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; no other education required.

Responsibilities

• Lead an hourly distribution team of 20–30 associates.
• Ensure adherence to operations procedures and drive process improvements.
• Coach, train and evaluate associates; hire, discipline and terminations as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key metrics (productivity, quality, accuracy, expenses).
• Coordinate with management to plan staffing and optimize department operations.
