Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead and optimize all warehousing and inbound/outbound functions in a large distribution center. You will supervise several Supervisors and hourly associates, partner with the GM/AGM, and drive productivity, safety, and cost-to-serve improvements.

Travel is occasional, with a focus on optimizing layout, processes, and performance across multiple warehousing areas. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Strong proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to lead change.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational excellence across inbound, warehouse, outbound, and possibly office functions.
• Collaborate with GM/AGM to optimize methods, controls, staffing and layout for efficiency.
• Drive cost-to-serve reduction and continuous improvement through leadership of associates.
• Coach and develop associates; maintain a union-free, employee-centered workplace.
• Ensure safety culture and monitor safety metrics, security, and operational performance.
• Coordinate with 3PL or transportation partners for outbound loads as needed.
