Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive efficient, safe distribution center operations. You will manage 20 to 30 hourly associates, handle hiring, evaluation, discipline, and development, and work with leadership to meet performance goals.

Responsibilities include enforcing procedures, coaching staff, improving productivity and accuracy, planning staffing, and handling other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems; proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead an hourly team, ensuring safe, efficient distribution center operations.
• Develop and implement team goals; hire, evaluate and discipline hourly associates.
• Monitor productivity, safety, service and quality; coach and develop associates.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and analyze performance metrics.
• Plan staffing and coordinate operations with the Operations Manager/GM.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
