Job summary

The Home Depot's DC Area Supervisor leads an hourly team within the distribution center, ensuring safe, efficient and productive operations. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates and directly supervise 20 to 30 teammates.

You'll drive process efficiency, coaching staff, maintain inventory accuracy, and plan staffing to meet production targets while aligning with the center's business plan. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse workflows and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise 20–30 hourly associates and manage hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and termination.
• Ensure operations procedures are followed and drive process improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and analyze key metrics to improve productivity.
• Plan staffing and coordinate operations to meet business targets.
• Provide guidance and coaching to staff and handle associate relations issues.
