Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center to operate efficiently, safely and productively. You will hire, evaluate, develop and manage 20–30 hourly associates while driving process improvements.

Responsibilities include coaching, training, measuring performance, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role requires flexibility, relocation willingness, and experience with warehouse systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience supervising hourly associates.
• Experience with warehouse management systems advantageous.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and forecast labor.

Responsibilities

• Lead an hourly team of 20–30 associates to run DC operations safely and efficiently.
• Hire, train, evaluate, discipline and terminate hourly staff as needed.
• Develop and implement team goals and standardized processes for the shift.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, safety, service and quality; coach and develop staff.
• Analyze reports to plan staffing and optimize performance.
