Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive the distribution center to run efficiently, safely, and productively. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline, and terminate hourly associates and assume a management role for the team.

You will direct 20–30 associates, coach for performance, and ensure accurate merchandise handling while aligning goals with the operations manager and general manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20 to 30 hourly associates and coach for productivity, safety, service, and quality.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates as needed.
• Ensure operations procedures are followed and identify changes to improve processes.
• Monitor staffing and performance metrics to align with business plans.
• Coordinate and supervise daily distribution center operations.
