Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly distribution team, driving safe, accurate, and efficient merchandise handling. You will hire, coach, and evaluate associates, while ensuring procedures are followed and goals are met within the distribution center.

You will manage 20–30 hourly associates, oversee inventory accuracy, and work with leadership to plan staffing and improvements in operations, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED acceptable.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an hourly team of 20 to 30 associates.
• Ensure operations procedures are followed and process improvements identified.
• Coach and evaluate associates; hire, discipline and terminate as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key metrics for productivity, quality, and costs.
• Coordinate staffing and planning to meet business needs and goals.
