Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. You will manage hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and termination of 20 to 30 hourly associates, and ensure merchandise is handled promptly, accurately and safely.

You will coach and develop associates, monitor productivity and quality, and drive improvements in inventory accuracy and costs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years supervisory or leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly team and influence the distribution center to operate efficiently, safely and productively.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key metrics like productivity and quality.
• Coordinate staffing to align with business plans and demand.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and drive continuous improvement across operations.
