TurnPoint Services is seeking a Dispatcher to keep our service operations running smoothly in Des Moines, IA. You will schedule and dispatch technicians, communicate service times and updates to customers, and act as the main contact throughout the scheduling process.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in customer service, dispatch, call center, or related experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with scheduling, dispatch, or CRM software.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians based on availability, location, and skill set.
• Communicate with customers regarding appointment confirmations, arrival windows, and service updates.
• Monitor technician schedules and adjust routing to accommodate same-day changes and emergencies.
• Answer inbound calls and assist customers with service requests and scheduling questions.
• Maintain accurate customer and dispatch records in CRM and scheduling systems.
• Coordinate with technicians and service managers to support timely completion of jobs.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts while keeping customers informed.
• Escalate complex customer concerns or scheduling issues to the DSR Lead or Supervisor as needed.
• Assist with other administrative and customer service responsibilities as assigned.
