Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and be legally eligible to work in the US.
• Previous dispatch experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, strong listening and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches drivers to calls based on customer needs, driver locations, loads, and daily factors to balance cost and satisfaction.
• Maximizes productivity by routing vehicles to meet company goals.
• Assigns routes to drivers and manages daily and next-day actions to assure completion.
• Handles calls and emails from customer service and sales for pickups or container movements.
• Communicates with customers during on-site visits to resolve delays and issues.
• Gathers route data and maintains documentation for pickups, missed stops, and driver locations.
• Reports driver performance issues to management and participates in training.
