Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Dispatch experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches drivers to calls based on needs, location and loads to balance cost and satisfaction.
• Routes vehicles to maximize productivity and meet company goals.
• Assigns routes and service to drivers and manages daily actions.
• Handles calls and emails from customer service and sales regarding pickups or deliveries.
• Informs customers of delays and coordinates on-site updates.
• Prepares and maintains daily route schedules and driver location records.
• Reports driver performance issues to management for resolution.
• Participates in training and other learning opportunities.
