Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate drivers, trucks and containers for efficient service. You will balance routes, resolve issues, and keep customers informed while ensuring productivity across residential, commercial, and roll-off services.

Ideal candidates bring attention to detail, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or GED required; some dispatch experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; willing to work in the US.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative dispatch team.
• Prefer some dispatch experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches drivers to calls using customer needs, locations and loads to balance cost and satisfaction.
• Route drivers to maximize productivity and ensure prompt service.
• Assigns routes and manages pickups/deliveries across the day and next day.
• Handles calls and emails from customer service and sales for container movements.
• Notifies customers of delays and communicates with drivers on-site to resolve issues.
• Maintains daily route schedules and route sheet documentation.
• Reports driver performance issues to management for resolution.
• Participates in training and other opportunities to support the company’s mission.
