Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Support professional to coordinate quality, service and administrative tasks in the pickup and delivery area. You will dispatch transportation equipment per the Linehaul plan to minimize costs and safeguard service integrity, and perform regulatory checks to ensure DOT compliance.

You will monitor daily performance metrics, coordinate with BC/AOs and ISPs, resolve customer issues, and maintain equipment records to support safe, timely deliveries across our network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related area preferred.
• Administrative support, customer service or dock operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation concepts used in pickup, delivery and linehaul operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facility reporting metrics related to service, safety, cost and quality daily.
• Communicates with independent contractors and service providers about load plan changes.
• Investigates customer service complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinates dispatch of linehaul transportation equipment and logs events in the system.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance and regulatory documents for company and vendor equipment.
