Job summary

PCC Logistics is seeking a Dispatch Lead in Oakland, CA to oversee daily dispatch operations and ensure timely deliveries. You will supervise dispatch staff, coordinate schedules, and address delays while upholding safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a3+ years of dispatch or logistics experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid grasp of TMS/WMS/ERP systems. This on-site role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics or related field.
Minimum 3 years of dispatch, logistics, or supply chain operations experience, with leadership exposure.
Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics processes and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to manage and develop a team.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to analyze data and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

Lead daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient workflow and on-time deliveries.
Supervise and train dispatch staff, maintaining high performance and compliance.
Monitor schedules and address delays, route changes, and operational issues.
Act as primary contact for customers regarding delivery status and scheduling.
Collaborate with logistics to optimize routes and fleet utilization.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records.
