Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Dispatcher/Logistics Lead to coordinate movement of goods across the United States. You will schedule and dispatch drivers, monitor shipments, and ensure on-time delivery while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve issues, optimize routes, and reduce costs. The role requires experience with TMS, routing software, GPS tracking, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and routing software.
• Proven experience in fast-paced dispatch/coordination roles.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Proficient with dispatch software and GPS tracking.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles for timely deliveries.
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate delays to drivers and customers.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff on loading/unloading and inventory availability.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and driver logs per policy.
• Resolve route changes, breakdowns, or delivery discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure safety compliance across transportation operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve logistics processes.
