Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, brokerage, or 3PL operations.
• Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory or senior logistics experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and load specifications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Demonstrated leadership, including coaching, conflict resolution, and team development.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day transportation operations with accurate workflow.
• Enforce SOPs and train team members.
• Assist with load quote requests and communicate with customers.
• Support Dispatch agents with carrier selection and satisfaction.
• Provide timely shipment status updates to customers and internal teams.
• Build relationships with carriers to expand the network.
• Monitor documentation and ensure timely processing.
• Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers when needed.
• Monitor carrier performance and report issues.
• Provide daily coaching to staff under the Logistics Manager.
• Lead by example with strong customer service.
• Remain on-call for emergencies and after-hours.
