Job summary

The Southern Connecticut Gas Company is seeking a Supervisor – Dispatch & ECC in Orange, CT. This on-site role oversees daily operations, ensures efficient dispatch of emergency and planned work, and guides a team of field personnel to achieve optimal productivity and customer satisfaction.

Requires extensive gas operations dispatch knowledge and strong communication skills; salary ranges from $116,640 to $145,800 depending on experience. On-site work with 24/7 on-call coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent in experience.
• 13+ years of gas operations experience if no degree.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch policies, procedures and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and monitors union and non-union staff on sickness, discipline and work quality.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Corporate regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Executes same-day dispatching of emergency and non-emergency work; plans and un-planned work.
• Directs dispatchers to ensure proper staffing, minimize overtime and meet metrics.
• Reviews workload and assigns to contractors efficiently and timely.
• Supervises data entry of construction work orders and maintains service cards and files.
• Processes all State permits and maintains records.
• Participates in safety and process improvement programs; responsible for results.
• Provides coverage in field 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
